LabManager Basis Devices<br />
As an intelligent central processing unit, a<br />
LabManager basic device contains:<br />
� one 32 bit controller card (HK-CPU32),<br />
� one HK-SER8ECB card to connect up to 6(8)<br />
HD-RS2329(p) RS232 interface modules<br />
� a LP-BASIS1 or 2 basis panel and<br />
� a power supply for the cards.<br />
The basis panel is part of the standard equipment of<br />
a basic device and does not have to be ordered<br />
separately.<br />
Next to a low heat device socket for the power<br />
supply, the basis panel (LP-BASIS2) has a potentialfree<br />
RS232 interface for the connection of the UI. Up<br />
to six additional serial interfaces can be connected<br />
to the basis panel.<br />
