AIDJEX DATA TRANSFERRED TO EDS
The A cards give the File Identification Number, a number unique to the
Environmental Data Service; station, th.e location of the data sensors; start
and end dates of the data collection; and the identification of the location
of the data bank copy of the data, with a coded description of the contents.
The B cards give further information on the files, including the location
of the operations printouts that show how the job of reformatting was done,
the name of the principal analyst, the agency to which the data were sent,
and when they were sent. The location of the data bank copy of the original
data prior to reformatting for transfer is given, followed by the file
descriptor.

the Director, National Climatic Center, NOAA/EDS, Federal Building, Asheville,

medium onto which data are to be transcribed.
