A change of name <strong>and</strong> a change of direction for the former<br />
Granulated Rubber Industries has seen the company<br />
<strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> the recycl<strong>in</strong>g of scrap tyres for use <strong>in</strong> soil<br />
additives <strong>and</strong> ground cover products. The company was<br />
<strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> the production of tyre-derived fuel, but<br />
decided to produce recycled products us<strong>in</strong>g crumb rubber.<br />
The success of such products as Rebound, <strong>Sport</strong>sTurf,<br />
PermaPark <strong>and</strong> EquestriFoot as produced by the new<br />
American Tire Recyclers company is discussed.<br />
