4) The suitability of ‘quick response’ <strong>sprinkler</strong>s for many risks is not yet proven. Use is therefore limited to where the purchaser, authority<br />
having jurisdiction <strong>and</strong>/or insurers consent to its use. Quick response <strong>sprinkler</strong>s must be h<strong>and</strong>led with care due to the fragile nature of<br />
the operating element, with packaging <strong>and</strong> instructions being marked accordingly.<br />
5) This extended coverage horizontal sidewall <strong>sprinkler</strong> should be h<strong>and</strong>led with care to ensure that the deflector is not deformed. After<br />
installation the deflector angle should be checked with the manufacturers gauge to verify its angle of 92.5°.<br />
6) The product manufacturer should be consulted to determine the product fire protection capability <strong>and</strong> installation practice. Available<br />
test evidence <strong>and</strong> the CEA document "Requirements <strong>and</strong> Test Methods for Hotel Room Horizontal Sidewall Sprinklers" should also<br />
be consulted to ensure correct usage in light hazard applications.<br />
7) This <strong>sprinkler</strong> is fitted with a pintle to denote that it has a 15mm nominal thread size.<br />
