Pr EN 12259-9 Fixed firefighting systems - Components for sprinkler and water spray systems - Part
9: Deluge valve assemblies
Deluge valves and actuators are currently approved to a schedule of requirements developed by LPCB unless
otherwise stated, for use in automatic sprinkler installations.
All deluge valves should be the subject of a maintenance contract, satisfying the requirements of the LPC
Rules for Automatic Sprinkler Installations.
The nominal orifice size of valves listed is given in millimetres.
