5.3 Conclusions drawn from the recording of the Existing Situation in Europe
and Internationally and recording of Best Practices
Deliverables D4: “Review of the International Environment” and D5: “Recording and
Evaluation of Best Practices” include:

A review of the international environment in the eGovernment sector aiming at
collecting and assessing data which concern the strategy and business planning, the
organisational structures and their results among E.U. countries.
Recording and evaluation of the Best Practices in eGovernment sector in order to
pinpoint the top developments at a European and International level, their critical
assessment and the examination of the possibilities and the most fruitful method for
their exploitation in our country.
In total, 72 Best Practices were collected. In the following Graphs their allocation is
presented in terms of topic unit and country of origin.
