77% of the sample comes from the Attica region while 23% from the rest of Greece, with
Central Macedonia participating in 7% of the sample. 57% of the sample was women, 91%
of whom were between 25 and 54 years old. The academic level of the sample, as shown in
the following diagram, was mainly of Higher Education.
5.4.1 Conclusions
Despite the fact that infrastructures in information technology are at a satisfactory level, they
are not extensively used by the employees. The use of such technologies is basically limited
to the use of computers, necessary for the conduction of their duties. The study has proved
that, (with the exception of the employees working for the Services of Tax Offices who resort
to the software of the department rather than the overall facilities provided by information
technologies), the use of computers is not required for the great majority of employees.
