1. The Director of Regeneration & Environment – Implementation left the Council1 on 12 May 2011, therefore, the
remuneration shown in the table above is substantially lower than the annualised amount would have been.
2. The Director of Culture, Leisure & Sport was made redundant on 31 March 2011, therefore, the table above only shows the
redundancy payment made during 2011/12.
3. The Director of Education left the Council on 29 February 2012.
4. Regenerate Pennine Lancashire is a third party economic development company. The Council pays the salaries of the
employees, including the Managing Director.
5. For the post of Deputy Chief Executive, 20% of the salary costs have been charged to the Care Trust Plus
6. For the post of Chief Executive, 50% of the salary costs have been charged to the Care Trust Plus.
