3. Public health: for those<br />

work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the NHS, local<br />

authorities and the wider<br />

public and voluntary<br />

sector, guidance on the<br />

promotion of good health<br />

and the prevention of ill<br />

health<br />

Department of Health<br />

and the NHS,<br />

responsible for<br />

develop<strong>in</strong>g plans for<br />

improv<strong>in</strong>g health<br />

quality and are<br />

capacity of local health<br />
