With the completed phases 1 and 2 the 16"
water main will extend from Central Avenue
to Dyer Boulevard providing a loop system
that will increase system pressures in the
southern portions of the City area; improve
service to the area south with pressure
issues (i.e., Brighton Lakes, The Oaks, Good
Samaritan Village); and provide water service
to vacant parcels along the roadway corridor.
The sewer extension will provide sewer
service to approximately 7 to 10 vacant
parcels. The exact amount of parcels is
currently unknown. These parcels and the
City's proposed landscaped median will
benefit from the existing 30” reuse main. The
existing sewer pipe requires rehabilitation
due to the condition and age of the
infrastructure.

The project consists of the extension of
approximately 11,200 lineal feet of 24” water
main; relocation/upsizing of 2,900 lineal feet
of 6” force main to 8”; and relocation of an
estimated 300 lineal feet of 6” force main.
The project’s construction has been split
in two. One portion will construct the
new 8” force main ahead of the roadway
improvements. The second portion will
construct the 24” water main and the
miscellaneous force main relocations in
conjunction with Osceola County’s roadway
improvements.
The water main extension is required to
provide the prescribed level of service to the
area now served by the offline Springlake
Village WTP; (to eventually be
decommissioned); interconnecting the
Buenaventura Lakes subdivision with the
Eastern Regional Water System (Toho 1)
allowing for the eventual decommissioning of
potential debris along the
path of the proposed water
and sewer utilities.
Force main construction is
currently underway.
CPH has completed
100% design on the 24”
