Executive Wheeler asked the Board for clarification
on whether interest was to be charged on SDCs
covered in a Forbearance Agreement. Supervisor
Thacker stated that he was okay with the
forbearance agreements being without interest. Mr.
Wheeler stated that part of the amnesty program,
Service Agreements, is going to be applied to all
new commercial customers as well as those that
participate in the Amnesty Program.
Chairman Van Meter asked when the Pilot Program
would begin and that he would like staff to report to
the Board on its progress. Mr. Sweeney responded
that the pilot program would begin on Monday, July
16 th .
Motion passed 5 to 0 (Supervisor Banasco hung up
the telephone and was not available to vote).

5:53 PM Staff Reports A) LAKEFRONT LIFT STATION (LS35) FORCE
MAIN BY-PASS AND ODOR CONTROL
EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION UPDATE –
Engineering Director, Robert Pelham gave the
Board an update on the project to address the odors
associated with the Lakefront lift station (35).
B) MONTHLY FINANCIAL REPORT MAY 2012 –
Alexandra Green presented the financial report for
the month of May 2012.

C)CAPITAL PROJECT SUMMARIES – no
questions
Osceola County Commissioner Harford suggested
that the Authority be cautious about granting
contractors permission to work on certain holidays
in areas that may impact residents. He also
informed the Board that the residents of
Intercession City have inquired about the potential
to have sanitary sewer service constructed for their
community. Chairman Van Meter suggested that
the residents might look into applying for a
community block grant.
Supervisor Thacker said that Staff should continue
to pursue discussions with the Sheriff’s Department
on using fuel tanks to be installed in Poinciana and
the Western part of the County.
