E 33 Larch casebearer. Coleo phora laricella (Hbn.) An increase in population levels of the larch casebearer occurred in the district for the fourth consecutive year. The largest numbers were observed east of Matheson in Harker Township, where quantitive sampling revealed an average of 12.9 larvae per 18-inch branch tip (Table 7).
