Leaf rollers common near Ord Lake. Numerous on shoreline black ash on the Wabigoon River. collected in small numbers near Flavus Lake. Skeletonized leaves observed at each point. Moderate defoliation by this sawfly common on shoreline and roadside trees. Lightly infested trees. Low numbers in Sanford Twp. Low numbers only. Six trees attacked in Phillips Township. common throughout district on decadent host trees. Predators commn near Bruin Lake Portage. Endemic numbers at Triangle Lake in Division 18. Woodborers in small numbers Mutrie Township. Submitted from large collection of witches° brooms in Aubrey Township. Sawfly larvae in low numbers.
