The rev<strong>ie</strong>w considered a number <strong>of</strong> policy <strong>and</strong><br />
organisational options for reform <strong>and</strong> proposed a<br />
package <strong>of</strong> measures to deal with the core issues.<br />
The rev<strong>ie</strong>w will be published in 2007.<br />

Develop DSFA data holdings as a resource<br />
supporting policy development <strong>and</strong> programme<br />
evaluation <strong>and</strong> ensure that our data sources<br />
facilitate national developments in <strong>social</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
equality statistics.<br />
A questionnaire to survey the data needs <strong>of</strong><br />
both policy <strong>and</strong> operational schemes owners,<br />
with particular focus on data collected in<br />
administrative systems, was prepared in 2005.<br />
This survey was carr<strong>ie</strong>d out in <strong>2006</strong> <strong>and</strong> will be<br />
analysed in 2007, in consultation with the CSO.<br />
