MacDONALD, Frederick Herbert<br />
WWI<br />
Frederick of Fall River, NS, joined the 63 rd Battalion on McNab’s Island on April 12,<br />
1918, and served in the 85 th Battalion in France. He came home and was discharged<br />
on June 8, 1919, at 24 years of age. He has three daughters in the CWAC and a son<br />
in the Army. Frederick and his wife had two more daughters at home. Frederick<br />
passed away on July 23, 1964, at the age of 70.<br />

MacDONALD, Lorna<br />
WWII<br />
Lorna was born in Los Angeles, California, and lived in Wiltshire, PEI, and then<br />
Waverly, NS. She served with the RCAF, Women’s Division (Wireless Division)<br />
during WWII. She passed away on January 20, 1997.<br />

MacDONALD (SNOW), Jean<br />
WWII<br />
Jean joined the CWAC and trained at Kitchener, ON, in 1944. She was posted at<br />
National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa for two years and was discharged in 1946.<br />
She is a daughter of Sgt. Frederick MacDonald.<br />

MacDONALD, John Archibald<br />
WWII<br />
John, son of the late Russell and Mary (Fall) MacDonald, was born in Augustine<br />
Cove, PEI. John was employed with the CNR retiring after 43 years of service and<br />
was a Life Member of Dieppe Branch #090 of The <strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Canadian</strong> <strong>Legion</strong>. He<br />
passed away on January 12, 2009.<br />
