The supply of marine commercial services is a fundamental need of the world’s<br />
shipping, shipbuilding and, to a lesser extent, most other marine sectors. Shipping<br />
activity remains the key driver, therefore demand will grow in line with the<br />
shipping sector.<br />
The main potential for change is in the centres from where the market for marine<br />
commerce will be supplied.The major factors that may increasingly determine this is<br />
the growth of the Asian market (mainly China) and the strength of Singapore as a<br />
major financial sector.
