Application for Graduation<br />
Candidates for graduation are expected to file their application one semester prior to the term<br />
of graduation. An application will be provided and accepted by the Registrar's Office. Students<br />
who fail to complete requirements by the time stated on the application will be required to file<br />
a new one. The graduation fee is payable to the Business Office at the time the application is<br />
filed but not later than one month prior to the graduation date.<br />
Graduation Requirements<br />
All students pursuing an Associate of Arts Degree must meet the following graduation<br />
requirements:<br />
1. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher in all college work earned;<br />
2. Must have earned a minimum of 68 semester hours, which must include all<br />
requirements for the degree, but not include any preparatory hours;<br />
3. Must have earned at <strong>Concordia</strong>-Selma at least 16 of the last 24 semester hours required<br />
for graduation;<br />
4. Must have earned satisfactory scores on <strong>Concordia</strong>'s Proficiency Exam; and<br />
5. Must have satisfied all financial obligations to the college.<br />
All students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree must meet<br />
the following graduation requirements:<br />
1. Must have earned a minimum of 130 semester hours, which must include all<br />
requirements for the degree, but not include any preparatory courses;<br />
2. Must have earned a minimum grade point average of 2.5 in each of the following<br />
components: general education, business professional core, and major courses;<br />
