POWER METERING<br />
In this mode, your SPR can be configured or re-configured to keep up with any system changes.<br />
Your system generator or bus readings can be monitored.<br />
System configuration<br />
The system configuration should be checked <strong>and</strong> set to your requirements as detailed in<br />
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION.<br />
If a fault is suspected in your system, use the Power Metering Menu to check the electrical<br />
system <strong>and</strong> connections. Any of the electrical parameters can be monitored, including generator<br />
voltage readings, power, power factor, frequency, current etc.<br />
‘Generator’ checking<br />
Return to the Main Menu by pressing<br />
ESC as required.<br />
Use the DOWN key to highlight POWER<br />
METERING <strong>and</strong> press ENTER.<br />
This will bring up the Power Metering<br />
Menu; from this menu you can scroll to<br />
the Generator or Bus sub-menus.<br />
Selecting Gen Readings <strong>and</strong> pressing<br />
ENTER will bring up the generator Menu.<br />
By scrolling down the menu, you can<br />
check:<br />

Voltage<br />
●<br />
Current<br />
●<br />
WATTS (Active power)<br />
●<br />
VA (Apparent power)<br />
●<br />
VAR (Reactive power)<br />
●<br />
PF (Power factor)<br />
●<br />
PA (Phase angle)<br />
●<br />
FREQUENCY<br />
The examples on the following pages reflect the three phase four wire product (model SPR-<br />
014W). Please note that not as many measurements are available on the three phase three wire<br />
product (model SPR-013W) for example, neutral current readings will be zero as this signal does<br />
not exist. In the following screens, press ESC to return to the Gen Readings menu.<br />
