Keyboard Illumination<br />
Illumination level<br />
To change illumination level of the<br />
keyboard backlight, press the Fn key<br />
and tap on the left or right arrow keys.<br />
The level of illumination changes repeatedly from off to maximum<br />
in seven steps. The current illumination level is memorized<br />
when CPU is turned off.<br />
The keyboard incorporates a power saving feature that automatically<br />
turns off the keyboard backlighting after a keyboard<br />
illumination time-out has expired. Striking any key restores<br />
backlighting.<br />
Duration of the keyboard illumination<br />
To set duration of the keyboard illumination, press the Fn key<br />
and tap on the arrow up or down keys. The up and down<br />
arrow keys repeatedly increases/decreases the period of illumination<br />
in seven steps of 10 minutes (maximum of 70 minutes).<br />
Special Characters<br />
Special characters such as "€" are displayed by pressing<br />
simultaneously CTRL + ALT + special character key.<br />
Keypad mode<br />
A 15-key numeric keypad is embedded on the typewriter keys<br />
as shown in the following example (English):<br />
