Ethiopia encounters repeated droughts with the<br />

Main activities<br />

Agricultural inputs will be provided in the form of<br />

wheat and barley seeds plus dap and urea fertilizers,<br />

and improved breeding sheep. A warehouse will also<br />

be constructed, and training for community animal<br />

health workers, development agents and farmers will<br />

be provided. Improvements to honey production with<br />

supply inputs will also be carried out.<br />

Improved genetic resources for crops will be provided<br />

– such as blight-resistant potatoes. A community<br />

poultry multiplication centre (run by landless youths<br />
