To contribute to food price stability within 13 districts<br />
of the on-going TAP operation, by improving<br />
effi ciency and effectiveness in the operation of rice<br />
and maize value chains at local and national levels,<br />
as well as improving access to agricultural inputs and<br />
services, leading in the long-term to more reliable<br />
and less expensive food supplies for the population.<br />

Smallholders in the Kilolo and Namtumbo districts;<br />
and vulnerable households headed by women, and/<br />
or with family members living with HIV/AIDS.<br />

250 smallholders trained at Msindo Rural Training<br />
Centre; 200 smallholder members of the Kilolo<br />
Agricultural Consortium, 4 250 households benefi t-<br />
ing from services offered by the Consortium; and<br />
10 000 smallholders benefi ting from detailed soil<br />
