Summary and objectives<br />
To reduce food price volatility and improve the productive<br />
capacity of the agricultural sector. More<br />
specifi cally, to sustainably improve food security in<br />
the Chencha and Arba Minch Zuria woredas through<br />
increased on-farm food production and access to<br />
markets.<br />
Target groups<br />
Farmer families – 4 400 living in the Chencha woreda,<br />
and 5 600 living in the Arba Minch Zuria woreda, of<br />
which 20% will be female-headed households.<br />
Final beneficiaries<br />
Up to 50 000 food consumer households living in<br />
the towns of Arba Minch and Chencha.<br />
