Providing an oasis of security amid<br />
volatility<br />
Summary and objectives<br />
To support MDGs addressing poverty and hunger<br />
in Oddar Meanchey province, Cambodia, and to<br />
reduce vulnerability to soaring food prices in 4 000 of<br />
the poorest families.<br />
Target groups<br />
4 000 of the poorest families (20 000 people) in the<br />
Banteay Ampil, Anlong Veng and Trapeang Prasat<br />
districts of Oddar Meanchey province – focussing<br />
on previously landless families now settled along<br />
the border areas.<br />
Final beneficiaries<br />
The entire population of these three districts:<br />
22 000 families, 110 000 people.<br />

To contribute to long-term poverty reduction in<br />
Oudomxay province and to mitigate the impact<br />
