gazowo-parowego w Stalowej Woli o mocy 400 MW. Zakończenie
projektu planowane jest na drugą połowę 2014
roku. W Zespole Elektrociepłowni Bielsko-Biała powstaje
blok ciepłowniczy. W sierpniu 2010 roku rozpoczęła się
tam budowa jednostki o mocy 50 MW e /182 MW t . Planowany
termin oddania jej do eksploatacji to połowa 2013
roku. W Elektrowni Jaworzno III powstanie blok węglowy
o mocy 910 MW. Planowany termin oddania go do eksploatacji
to rok 2016.
W dalszej perspektywie zamierzamy zaangażować się
w energetykę jądrową. Chcielibyśmy, by znalazła się ona
w portfelu sprzedawanej przez nas energii od 2024–2025
roku.
W 2010 roku wdrożyliśmy model centralnego finansowania
Grupy TAURON, który wpływa m.in. na obniżenie kosztów
finansowania zewnętrznego i zwiększenie możliwości
pozyskania finansowania, przekładając się tym samym na
wyższą ocenę kondycji finansowej spółki wystawianą przez
agencje ratingowe. W grudniu 2010 roku spółka wyemitowała
obligacje o łącznej wartości około 850 mln zł, które
zostały przeznaczone na restrukturyzację części zadłużenia
spółek zależnych. Zauważalny był też stopniowy przyrost
nadwyżki środków pieniężnych z działalności operacyjnej
generowanej przez Grupę nad wydatkami inwestycyjnymi.

Zespół Elektrociepłowni Bielsko-Biała. In August 2010 the
construction of a 50 MW e /182 MW t unit was commenced
there. This unit is scheduled to be commissioned in the middle
of 2013. A 910 MW hard coal fired unit will be erected at
Elektrownia Jaworzno III. The planned commissioning date
is 2016.
Looking at a longer term we are planning to get involved in
nuclear energy. We would like to have it in our energy supply
portfolio starting from 2024-2025.
Last year we implemented TAURON Group’s centralized finance
model which helps, among others, to reduce the cost
of external financing and increase the potential to acquire
financing thus leading to the higher rating of the company
by the rating agencies. In December 2010 the company issued
bonds worth in total approximately PLN 850m that
were used to restructure a part of the subsidiaries’ debt.
Also noticeable was a gradual increase of the surplus of cash
generated by the Group from operations over the capital
expenditures.
In 2010 we observed growing volumes in our Group’s key
lines of business. Electricity generation went up. Economic
recovery and active steps aimed at acquiring new customers
