Objectives<br />
- To establishing and strengthening cooperation <strong>of</strong> the European Nuclear Education<br />
Network <strong>Association</strong> with other European Networks in order to achieve integration <strong>of</strong><br />
their activities within <strong>ENEN</strong>, share networking experience, establish contact points and<br />
information channels with European Networks <strong>of</strong> Excellence and with End User<br />
organisations and stakeholders. Merge networks in case this would result in added value.<br />
- To strengthen and structure the interactions and cooperation <strong>of</strong> the European Nuclear<br />
Education Network <strong>Association</strong> with regional networks outside Europe and worldwide<br />
networks related to education and training in nuclear disciplines.<br />
<strong>Description</strong> <strong>of</strong> work<br />
Establish an Advisory Committee to advise and evaluate the activities <strong>of</strong> the <strong>ENEN</strong><br />
<strong>Association</strong> and to provide guidance for the implementation <strong>of</strong> the <strong>ENEN</strong>-II project. The<br />
Advisory Committee will be formed by selected members <strong>of</strong> Networks on Education and<br />
Training and End Users.<br />
Develop national networks in the EU member states represented in <strong>ENEN</strong> to coordinate<br />
nuclear education and training at the national level (using BNEN, NTEC, etc. as a model) by<br />
appointing a national coordinator in charge <strong>of</strong><br />
- the reporting on a regular basis on achievements and obstacles related to this objective;<br />
- promoting the dissemination and use <strong>of</strong> <strong>ENEN</strong> products at the national level;<br />
- involve stakeholders at the national level in the definition <strong>of</strong> <strong>ENEN</strong> objectives, activities<br />
and products<br />
Contact and establish cooperation and information exchange structures in a framework <strong>of</strong><br />
mutual recognition with<br />
- European Networks on Education and Training in Radiological Protection, Radioactive<br />
Waste Management, Decommissioning, etc.<br />
- European Networks <strong>of</strong> Excellence, for example on Severe Accident Phenomenology and<br />
Life prediction and Extension, to cover training needs (e.g. SARNET, NULIFE,<br />
ACTINET)<br />
Contact and establish cooperation and information exchange structures with End-user<br />
Networks<br />
- the European Utility Requirements EUR;<br />
- the Western European Union Regulators <strong>Association</strong> WENRA;<br />
- the environmental monitoring and protection agencies;<br />
- the agencies in charge <strong>of</strong> geological disposal and underground storage <strong>of</strong> nuclear waste.<br />
