HOUSTON, TEXAS---The National Aeronautics and Space Administration<br />

has signed a supplemental agreement with the Grumman Aerospace Corp.<br />

valued at about $7,784,000 for changes in the Apollo lunar module<br />

contract.<br />

The agreement formally incorporates into the Grumman contract<br />

107 changes previously authorized by <strong>NASA</strong> for modification to the<br />

contractor's procedures fo:c: flight anomaly investigations, for<br />

modification to flight and ground test hardware, for additional ground<br />

support equipment, and for incorporation of the LM System Safety Program<br />

Plan. The modifications bring the total estimated value of the Grumman<br />

contract since January 1963 to approximately $1,717,498, O00.<br />

Grumman performs the majority of work on the lunar module contract<br />

at its Bethpage, N. Y. facility with support from its offices in<br />

Houston_ White Sands, N. M., and at the Kennedy Space Center_ Fla.<br />
