Student Relation Affairs Cell and Counselling
The Institute has due concern about all that is to be done to make students’ life easy during the period of
their career in the Institute. And to this cause, the Institute has the Students Relations Affairs Cell. The
Cell, comprising of experienced professional personnel, in general, arranges the necessary ‘counselling’
and appoints ‘mentors’ for the concerned students. Any behavioural issues concerning Students’ physical
and mental health are also dealt with by the Cell. Besides, the Cell provides its assistance to students to
solve their day-to-day problems related to bank loan, paying fees, commuting to the Institute, granting
of permission for temporary absence from the Institute with valid reasons based on their applications
forwarded by the concerned heads of departments, etc. The admission to the undergraduate and the postgraduate
courses as well as the Institute promotional activities and outbound seminars, workshops is also
monitored by the Cell under the overall guidance of the Institute authority. The Cell has excelled in its
performance in the previous year, by achieving remarkable sucess in admissions.
