Entrepreneurship Development Programme Cell<br />
The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Cell, working in tandem with Corporate Relation<br />
Affairs division, has added a new dimension to engineering and management science education at <strong>SKFGI</strong>.<br />
Founded on 7th September 2012 with the objective of fostering and supporting entrepreneurial acumen of<br />
students, EDP Cell evoked tremendous interest amongst students as evidenced by their participation in<br />
large numbers in the following sponsored programmes:<br />
w Management Development Program on Quality Control & Inventory Management: sponsored by Department<br />
of MSME-DI, Kolkata, Government of India (10-day duration for 20 student participants);<br />
w Management Development Program on Marketing Management: sponsored by Department of MSME-<br />
DI, Kolkata, Government of India (10-day duration for 20 participants);<br />
w Entrepreneurship Development Program: sponsored by Department of MSME-DI, Kolkata, Government<br />
of India (10-day duration for 20 student participants); and<br />
w Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp: sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST),<br />
Government of West Bengal (for 55 student participants).<br />
Research Publication<br />
We have a number of distinguished professors at <strong>SKFGI</strong> who have to their credit a large number of research<br />
publication in peer-reviewed journals of International repute co-authored by their students including B.<br />
Tech students. See Annexure BI, Annexure BII and Annexure CI.<br />
