31 Once the proposed club has submitted the New Club Application Form and constitution, as well as met with the Center for Student Involvement and the Student Government Association, the club will undergo a review by representatives from CSI and SGA to determine official approval of probationary status. If the proposed club is approved, it will be given three (3) academic months of provisional acknowledgment. During this time, the proposed club must hold at least one (1) event, bimonthly meetings, secure a minimum of 12 active members, attend all mandatory club events and workshops, and fulfill all OrgSync requirements. If a proposed club is denied recognition, the club will receive an explanation in writing about why the decision was made and available options (if applicable). After the provisional acknowledgment period ends, if the club completed the requirements, it will go up for review in front of the Student Government Association Senate. This meeting consists of a presentation of the student organization, a question and answer segment, and a formal SGA vote. If approved, the club will be granted recognition from both the Center for Student Involvement and the Student Government Association. If the proposed club does not meet the requirements during the provisional acknowledgment, the representatives will receive a written letter indicating that they did not meet the criteria, the reasons for the failure and available options (if applicable). Meetings: When do you meet Meetings should occur at minimum biweekly during the academic year. 8. Programs: Organizations must hold one community service project and two events per semester. Define what programming is. 9. Amendments: How can you amend the constitution Constitutions should be reviewed and reevaluated yearly. 32
