University identification cards are required for identification and issued to all faculty, staff and
students. ID cards are necessary for after-hours access to all residence halls, academic and
administrative buildings, use of the library, entry to athletic events and all University facilities
including Health Services. After-Hours Admission Cards must be on file with the Office of
Public Safety and Transportation for admission to academic buildings.

You must present your proof of payment or confirmation of classes. To replace your University
ID card, a fee of $15 will be charged.

For the tutoring style best for each student, the Writing Center offers many services to students
attending all Adelphi sites, including:
Individual consultations with a peer writing tutor in any one of our locations: Earle Hall, second
floor of Swirbul Library across from the Reference Desk, and Room 277 at the Manhattan
Center.

For students studying in the library, you can visit our library drop-in desk, second floor of Swirbul
Library, opening evenings and weekends. Writing Center tutors will schedule an appointment.
