Depart Auckland for the Bay of Islands where you’ll spend two nights relaxing,<br />

surrounded by a myriad of secluded beaches. On Day 3, return to Auckland for the night<br />

before heading back to nature and the dramatic and unspoilt coast of the Coromandel<br />

Peninsula for the next couple of nights. With native Pohutukawa trees on the western<br />

side and white sandy beaches on the east, treat yourself to a refreshing swim. Day 6,<br />

it’s off to Rotorua for a couple of nights where you’ll see bubbling mud pools and warm,<br />

colourful geothermal pools before heading to the untouched area of Lake Taupo. Arrive<br />

in Napier on Day 9 for a couple of nights and take in its Art Deco feel and Spanish<br />

Mission architecture before your next stop, Martinborough, famed for its Pinot Noir.<br />

Finish up by exploring the many attractions of the nation’s capital, Wellington.<br />

Leave Christchurch for Kaikoura. With many activities on offer, perhaps snorkel,<br />

swim with dolphins or go white water rafting whilst you’re here. You’ll then be off to<br />

Blenheim, known for its wine! Next, travel to the golden beaches and national parks<br />

of Nelson for two nights before heading to Punakaiki Rocks. Arrive in Franz Josef/<br />

Fox Glacier on Day 6, where glaciers, tranquil lakes and lush rainforest await, then get<br />

daring and try a once-in-a-lifetime adventure activity amongst the incredible scenery<br />

of Queenstown. Head to Te Anau on Day 9, a gateway to the wilderness of Fiordland<br />

National Park and stop at Nugget Point in the Caitlins area to see seals and penguins,<br />

before arriving in Dunedin on Day 10. <strong>Travel</strong> to Mt Cook to find mountain ranges<br />

stretching across the horizon and finishing up back in the vibrant city of Christchurch.<br />
