Explore the exquisite east coast and Northern Territory of Australia on this epic 25-day

Embrace Australian life as you head out from cosmopolitan Sydney to travel all the way
up the beautiful east coast, via Fraser Island and the Whitsundays, to the tropical city of
Cairns. Along the way, come into contact with the country’s Aboriginal people, phenomenal

ITINERARY
Sydney / Blue Mountains / Sydney
Meet your group on the first morning and head out of the city to admire the impressively scenic Blue
Mountains. Hike along the ridge overlooking Wentworth Falls and check out the iconic ‘Three Sisters’
rock formation before heading back to the city. Experience true Aussie food when you get to cook
your own barbecue dinner of flavoursome Australian steak. On Day 2, hit the incredible streets and
sights of Sydney with your guide. See the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House as you cruise from
Manly. Check out Chinatown, The Rocks and later, you can make an optional climb over the Sydney
Harbour Bridge - definitely one to rave about when you get home! (B, D)
Coffs Harbour
Time to get out of the city and into surf serenity at Coffs Harbour. Pass the famous ‘Big Banana’ and
check out the seaside town of Port Macquarie en-route to your awesome Surf Village stopover. (B, D)
Coffs Harbour / Byron Bay
Surf’s up! What better way to wake up this morning than with an invigorating surf class? Pull on your
wetsuit, grab a board and head out for your included lesson. After you’ve learnt to surf like an Aussie
pro, it’s time to get back on the road, next stop: bohemian Byron Bay. This little beauty oozes a laidback
lifestyle, hippie locals, artsy shops, bonza waves and cool nightlife. You’ll head to Cape Byron,
Australia’s most easterly point, to check out its beautiful lighthouse which boasts views of the bay
and the possibility to see dolphins and humpback whales - if you’re lucky! (B)
Surfers Paradise
Soak up the last of Byron’s rays and indulge in its relaxed atmosphere, then it’s off to Surfers
Paradise. Stop at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to see furry critters like wombats, kangaroos and
koalas. Prepare for pure relaxation as you enjoy tonight’s stop at a beachside resort. (B)
Surfers Paradise
Enjoy a day at leisure today where you’re free to do whatever you fancy. Hit the shops or reach
for the sky on a skydive, visit Australia Zoo or one of the Gold Coast’s exhilarating theme parks, or
simply sun-worship with the bronzed locals at the beach. Tonight, let off some steam with mates as
you check out the lively local nightlife, VIP nightclub entry included! (B)
Brisbane / Noosa
Explore the sleek city of Brisbane before you head towards the flash surfer town of Noosa today.
Check out the Brisbane River, Royal Botanical Gardens and see the Glasshouse Mountains and then
prepare for more coastal bliss. As you arrive into Noosa, you’ll soak up its chilled vibes, and dine
beachside at Noosa Surf Club, which overlooks the town’s pristine white beach. (B, D)
Rainbow Beach / Fraser Island
Are you ready for paradise? We thought so! Stroll along Rainbow Beach before exploring the world’s
largest sand island: Fraser Island. The only way to discover the island’s best bits is most certainly by
4WD, so sit tight and buckle up! Drive through tangled rainforest, imposing sand dunes and cool off
in the aqua waters of freshwater Lake McKenzie. After a hard day’s exploration, indulge in a gourmet
Aussie-style barbecue before resting up in your eco lodge home for the night. (B, L)
Hervey Bay / Farmstay
Take a boat trip across to Hervey Bay for some whale spotting, then journey to the incredible Great
Dividing Range and into cattle country for a unique overnight stay at a local cattle station. Learn
about the area’s heritage and farming history, and then try your hand at whip cracking! (B, D)
