It is intended for use as a general purposedebuggingmachine for support of single-chip microcomputerhardware and software.FEATURES• Usable for RAM-based program debugging• Connectable to the user system via a 0 I L socket orconnector• Built-in EPROM (2716,2732) writer function• Uses serial data transfer for two-way data transfer withthe host machine (e.g. PC9000 cross assembler machine)• Usable with a variety of single-chip microcomputers bysimply replacing a single board• Print out of internal memory contents is possible bymeans of an external printer• Easy-to-carry-about in its compact case, provided withan angle standCONFIGURATIONThe PC4000, as shown in the block diagram, consists of thefollowing hardware elements.(1) M5L8085AP monitor CPU(2) Serial data input/output interface circuit(3) EPROM writer circuit(4) Program RAM (10 bits x 4K)(5) Keyboard and LED display circuits(6) Power supplyThe PC4000 is used in conjunction with a dedicatedboard which allows interface of the PC4000 with the objectmicrocomputer under development. The dedicated boardinsertion access window is located on the right side of thePC4000. In addition, each dedicated board stores thecontrol program for the monitor CPU.
