Turner; laypersons – DonnieArant, Perry Hobgood, Brenda Lupton, Wendel Nixon, Iwana Ridgill, submit thefollowing report for your consideration:The Church of the Nazarene is comprised of local congregations throughoutthe world. By the uniting of our efforts and resources we are able to accomplish thatwhich our local churches cannot do by themselves. Necessary to these cooperativeministries is financial support from the local churches. Furthermore, we aredependent upon the integrity of pastors and local church financial officers indeveloping and maintaining a means to this ministry that is equitable and healthy.We recommend the following:1. That for the 2011-12 fiscal year local churches participate in the FairShare Plan (FSP). The FSP shall be conducted in this manner: each local church shallcontribute seven percent of its weekly tithes and offerings (including its SundaySchool offering) for the support of the following South Carolina <strong>District</strong> Ministries:<strong>District</strong> Operations, <strong>District</strong> Missional Growth, Camp, <strong>District</strong> Sunday School andDiscipleship Ministries, <strong>District</strong> NYI, <strong>District</strong> NMI. Send to South Carolina <strong>District</strong>Church of the Nazarene, 150 McSwain Drive, West Columbia, SC 29169.Exempt from inclusion in the Fair Share offerings is money given by thelocal church to the World Evangelism Fund and approved mission specials.The FSP allotments are to be sent each week to the South Carolina <strong>District</strong>Office. The district treasurer will disburse the funds proportionately in the followingmanner:<strong>District</strong> Operations – 57.6%<strong>District</strong> Missional Growth – 12.8%Camp – 16.2%108
