World Evangelism Fund has now reached the 109% mark. A motion was made andseconded to accept this report. Motion carried as unanimous.Secretary Lyman read the list of Board of Tellers #1. The ballot was distributed forthe <strong>District</strong> NMI President LaNora Jensen on a yes/no vote. Board of Tellers #1 wasdismissed to count the ballots.President Jensen recognized all new pastors to the South Carolina <strong>District</strong>and presented them with a small token of appreciation. She also recognized all newdelegates to the Convention and presented them with a small token of appreciation.Nancy Hicks, <strong>District</strong> LINKS Secretary, presented the LINKS report. Rev. RichardColeman prayed for our LINKS missionaries.Dr. Estep read the results of the <strong>District</strong> NMI President’s ballot. PresidentJensen was overwhelmingly reelected.President Jensen called attention to the delegate’s packets, making note ofthe reports from the Finance Committee and Standards and Goals Committee. Shealso drew attention to the Children’s Mission Fair flyer. She encouraged churches tolet the district know of any children who are feeling called to the mission field.The treasurer’s report was given by President Jensen in the absence of ElizabethDunham, district NMI treasurer. President Jensen thanked her for her work. Motionwas made to receive the treasurer’s report. It was seconded. Motion passed.President Jensen referred to the proposed budget located in the delegate’s packet.Motion was made to accept the <strong>District</strong> NMI budget. It was seconded. Motionpassed.President Jensen thanked Sue Powell for years of serve as the <strong>District</strong> NMISecretary. President Jensen welcomed Whitney Lyman into the role of district NMISecretary and thanked her for her work.Rev.
