She also read the Nominating Committee Report. Motionmade and seconded to accept the report. Motion carried. The ballot was distributedand then collected. The Board of Tellers was dismissed to count the ballots.Delegates were given a five-minute break.President Jensen reported that $1,766.89 was received in the Work andWitness offering collected during the service yesterday evening.President Jensen said that the district deputation schedule will be forwarded tochurches in the next couple weeks. She reported on the importance of the JESUSFilm ministry, and information was made available in the foyer. President Jensen ledin prayer for the ministry of the JESUS Film. President Jensen referred to severalitems located in the delegate’s packet, including the Standard and Goals Report.Secretary Lyman made a motion to adopt the <strong>District</strong> NMI Standards and GoalsCommittee Report. Motion seconded. Motion passed and report adopted.Sylvia Whiting gave a Memorial Roll presentation. She reported that the fundsgiven for the Memorial Roll help provide health care support for Nazarenemissionaries. Special music was presented by Chuck and Tina Morse while thenames of those on the Memorial Roll were scrolled on the screen. Sylvia led inprayer.President Jensen introduced our special speaker of the morning, Rev.Michael and Rev. Tamara Hudson. They both read from Psalm 62 and showed aslide tour of Romania and how God is at work. They said a very effective way ofsharing Christ with people in Romania is personal evangelism.The results of the district NMI Council ballot were read. The following wereelected: (207 ballots cast) NMI Vice President – Carey Pratt; NMI Treasurer –Elizabeth Dunham; NMI Secretary – Whitney Lyman; NMI Council – RichardColeman, Sylvia Whiting and Brian Walker.President Jensen thanked individuals for their assistance during theConvention. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn the Convention after thechildren present the song that they learned during the morning. Motion passed.Rev.
