Our total SDMI Attendance for 2010-2011 was 5,037, a decrease of 70from 2009-10 and our Responsibility List Total for 2010-2011 was 9,841, a decreaseof 4323 from last year.While I have experienced a real sense of discomfort over our decreases inboth attendance and Responsibility List, I am thankful to be able to report to youtoday that 30 churches showed an increase in their SDMI attendance over last yearand 23 churches showed an increase in their Responsibility List totals.I emphasized at last year’s convention the importance of understanding therole (no pun intended) of our Responsibility Lists and want to restate again todayhow important it is for us to seek “intentionally” to see individuals and familiesadded this year. In SDMI we are in the business of helping folks “make theconnection” to Jesus Christ and the more who are on our Responsibility Lists, themore we have the opportunity to share Jesus with.“Our” AwardsLast year I challenged us to see 25 churches achieve Award Status. I ampleased to report today that 23 of our churches did.
