South Carolina, you have been faithful at working on theseobjectives.1. PrayingSouth Carolina, we are a praying district. We have participated in WorldDay of Prayer, Nazarene World Week of Prayer, the Persecuted Church, for those inthe 10/40 window, and the JESUS Film. We are praying for the requests on thePrayer Mobilization Line. We have prayed for our LINKS families, , and especiallyour retired missionaries, one of whom went home to heaven in June. You haveprayed and supported our South Carolina missionaries, , Work and WitnessCoordinators at Southern Africa Nazarene University, and NCM Coordinators forSoutheast Asia. Thank you for your faithfulness in praying.2. DisciplingSouth Carolina, you have been faithful in mentoring and involving allpeople including youth and children to make Christlike disciples in the nations. InOctober we held our annual Children’s Mission Fair at the D. Moody Gunter Campand Retreat Center with 270 children and adults in attendance. One hundred twentycrisis care boxes and school pal paks were brought to the camp. The total deputationoffering was $750.When Jimmy and Brenda began preparing to go to Swaziland, we startedreceiving calls and e-mails to inquire when South Carolina would take a Work andWitness team to Swaziland. People were waiting so they could be the first to92
