Verify that the audible alarm is canceled and the unit continues to function.<br />
Reconnect the AC power.<br />
21. Connect the circuit to the infant test lung. Set the Volume Limit to 25ml. Verify<br />
That the tidal Volume readout is 25 ml ± 20%.<br />
22. Disconnect the Flow Sensor cable from the ventilator. Verify that the flow<br />
sensor alarm activates, assist sensitivity window is blank, and that the<br />
monitored volume and volume limit displays show dashes. Reconnect the flow<br />
sensor cable, verify audible alarm cancels, assist sensitivity window<br />
illuminates, and volume digits return.<br />
23. Turn Assist Sensitivity to MIN. Squeeze and release the patient circuit. Verify<br />
that the unit will assist and that Patient Initiated LED is illuminating.<br />
24. Disconnect the patient circuit from the test lung. Verify that both audible and<br />
visual Low Inspiratory Pressure alarms are activated. Verify that the Alarm<br />
Loudness can be varied from minimum to maximum, but the alarm cannot be<br />
turned off.<br />
