Application area and specific product characteristics<br />
This parquet is a clever combination of high-class floor boards and costoptimizing<br />
construction. 1-strip-floor boards come in many different design<br />
variations with an exceptional price/performance ratio. They are ideal for<br />
the less frequented rooms.<br />
Construction<br />
• Two layers bonded to each other, with tongue and groove all way around<br />
• Top layer sawed from exotic woods<br />
• Supporting layer made from multi-layered OSB4-panels<br />
• Low installation height: approx. 9.2mm.<br />

• Lacquered with the UV-light cured hard-wearing sealant DUROFORTE. The<br />
acrylate lacquer is free of solvents and formaldehyde and very resistant to<br />
abrasion. The gloss level is silk-matt.<br />
• Oiled with the EASY-CLEAN hard oil. This is a combination of UV-light-cured<br />
and oxidative-cured components of predominantly natural substances. It<br />
generates a film, effectively protecting the wood’s surface from staining.<br />
• Option: oak white-oiled<br />
• Option: oak colour-stained and DUROFORTE matt sealed<br />
• Option: brushed and/or chamfered<br />
Subfloor requirements<br />
The subfloor must be dry, clean, level and solid. See our subfloor<br />
requirements in Ch. 7 and the Bauwerk laying instructions in Ch. 8.1.<br />
Installation<br />
The floor is full-area bonded to a supporting subfloor with applicable<br />
adhesives.<br />
Floor heating and heat transmission resistance<br />
Bauwerk Clever<strong>Wood</strong> is suitable with underfloor heating (see Ch. 7.2).<br />
Heat transmission resistance approx. 0,067 m²K/W.<br />
Maintenance and care<br />
If required the floor can be vacuum cleaned or wiped with a well wringed<br />
cloth. Too much water damages the wooden flooring.<br />
Packaging<br />
• Cardboard made from 100% recycled paper<br />
• Polythene sheeting on the inside protecting against moisture.<br />
