Several people have contributed to the success of this work, whom I’d like to thank at this point.<br />

I’d like to thank my colleagues at the BGIA, who contributed to this work by professional discussions<br />

and hints on important literature, as well as the construction of the robot’s workplace. Especially I’d<br />

like to thank my supervisor Dr. Michael Huelke for his constant support and Dr. Michael Schaefer for<br />

making this work possible.<br />

Also I’d like to thank my supervising professors, Prof. Dr. Dietmar Reinert and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard<br />

I thank Jörn von der Lippe, who worked on a parallel master project on the same 3D camera, for<br />
