The following tasks allow you to easily manage the common functions within the Cisco IronPort
appliance. The following operations and commands are described:

Shutting Down the Cisco IronPort Appliance
To shut down your Cisco IronPort appliance, use the Shutdown/Suspend page available on the System
Administration menu in the GUI or use the shutdown command in the CLI. Figure 8-1 shows how to shut
down the appliance using the Shutdown/Suspend page.
