5.3 Starting-up and self test of MT-30, MT-40 and MT-60The device has extensive self tests and error diagnoses; e.g. text memory test and RAM test; which are carried outwhen the system is started. This starting-up phase is reported by a text display. In the following, the masks of theMT-60 are shown for coupling to the PLC; those of other devices are correspondingly designed*** MT - 60 ***SELF - TEST* MT-40 *SELF - TEST* MT-30 *SELF - TESTWith a faultless run the device switches to the information mask. The mask informs you about the type of deviceand the selected operation mode.Type of device*** MT - 60 ***FLASH V 2.70 NR:01Memory type RAM, EPROM, Software version Device addressEEPROM or Flash-EEPROMAfter approx. one second, this information is replaced by the basic mask.5.4 Error messages after the startIf the following message appears on the display:!!! ERROR IN TEXT MEMORY !!!PLEASE REPROGRAMthe device has found a faulty initialized text memory and must be reprogrammed.The message!!! ERROR IN HISTORY BUFFER !!!HISTORY BUFFER DELETEDrefers to a structural error in the history.
