The bridge from<strong>the</strong> pier <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> hill, ishorizontal, and <strong>the</strong> beams rest on <strong>the</strong> pier, and ona triple row <strong>of</strong> timbers let <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> bank : it has a penthouse over it,which is covered widi sh<strong>in</strong>gles.
