They are good jo<strong>in</strong>ers : <strong>the</strong>ir wooden divisions are <strong>in</strong>sertedbetween grooves, and <strong>the</strong>ir doors turn on pivots.This light k<strong>in</strong>d <strong>of</strong> summer-house s<strong>to</strong>od on higher ground, at only ashort distance from <strong>the</strong> castle, and at <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> a very long grassplot,where <strong>the</strong> Booteeas were accus<strong>to</strong>med <strong>to</strong>meet every afternoon <strong>to</strong>practise <strong>the</strong>ir martial exercises.
