The internet is avaluable education <strong>to</strong>ol <strong>and</strong> a healthinformation site specifically for women <strong>with</strong>disabilities will address the information deficitexperienced by this population.The authors suggest that women <strong>with</strong>disabilities should be recognised as a criticalsource of education.The provision of professional sign languageinterpreters for each interaction wasrecommended <strong>and</strong> more flexible visitinghours <strong>to</strong> enhance women’s supportmechanisms requested. Disability awareness<strong>and</strong> the provision of additional time are key <strong>to</strong>the facilitation of a positive interactionbetween staff <strong>and</strong> women.172
