Otherwise guarantee is not assignable, directly or indirectly.Owner shall, at its expense, (a) perform regular inspections and maintenance;(b) keep records of all inspections and maintenance performed; and (c) performrepairs to the roof or other building components identified during inspections byGAF as being necessary to preserve the integrity of the GAF roofing materials.Failure of owner to perform work promptly following written notification by GAFmay result in cancellation of guarantee if the owner=s failure results in damageto the GAF roofing materials.Owner shall, at its expense, remove (and, if desired, subsequently replace)any materials and equipment that impede inspection and repair of the GAFroofing materials, such as HVAC units and satellite dishes mounted so that thereis no functional access to the roof system, and precast concrete or rubberpavers, wood decking or steel grating that are installed over the GAF roofingmaterials.GAF shall not be responsible for or liable for any change or amendment tothe GAF roof specifications in regard to the roof construction, unless the changeor amendment is approved in writing by an authorized GAF Contractor Servicesmanager.In an emergency, the Owner may authorize or perform temporary repairs tominimize damage to the building or its contents. Such work will not result in thecancellation of guarantee provided that the temporary repairs are reasonableand customary, and do not result in permanent damage to the GAF membraneor base flashing. Owner is responsible for all expenses associated withtemporary repairs.607
