Section 6: Incomplete DataIn publishing the Low-Slope Roofing Materials Guide, NRCA maintains a policy of total objectivity in its reporting ofdata. Nothing is required from listing manufacturers other than to adhere to the prescribed reporting format. Anymanufacturer of a product in the product categories included in the Guide can be listed by submitting theirinformation in accordance with procedures developed for this purpose.Product manufacturers included in the Guide are encouraged to provide NRCA with listing information for theirproducts that is as complete as possible for publication in the Guide. Beginning with the 2000 edition of the Guide,in situations where manufacturers have submitted product information (e.g., test results) that is deemed to beincomplete, these specific products have been omitted from the detailed listing sections of the Guide.Manufacturers and products with incomplete product listing information are included in this new section of theGuide, entitled Section 6: Incomplete Data.NRCA has established this policy regarding manufacturers’ product listings with incomplete data at the request ofusers of the Guide, who are clearly seeking detailed and complete product information from the Guide and thecompanies listed.Users of the Guide who are interested in specific product information on a manufacturer’s product that is included inSection 6: Incomplete Data are encouraged to contact the specific product manufacturer directly.
