Though most ofShanika’s scores are within the gray area, she has scores greater than 2.0 standard deviationsabove the mean on three subscales: Fine Motor Manipulation, Fine Motor Writing, andCognitive Matching. Two other scores are greater than 1.0 standard deviation above the mean:Cognitive Counting and Language Naming. Shanika’s lowest scores are in Gross Motor. Overall,it would appear that Shanika has some significant strengths and is well ahead of her peers inmany areas. She would likely benefit from an enriched curriculum in these areas. ThoughShanika would not appear to have any significant problem in Gross Motor, she certainly wouldbenefit from more activities that target her gross motor skills.34
