pour the m xture nto the dam.<br />
The acryl c l qu d w ll take 30 m nutes to<br />
harden. Remove the cast when t s hard.<br />
If pa nt and rust are on the cast, make<br />
add t onal casts and subm t the cleanest<br />
one to the Laboratory.<br />
Ind cate where on the object (<strong>of</strong>ten a<br />
veh cle) the cast was taken.<br />
Pack the cast to prevent breakage.<br />
Photographs locate toolmarks but are <strong>of</strong> no<br />
value for identification purposes.<br />
Obta n samples <strong>of</strong> any mater al depos ted on<br />
the tools. Subm t samples n leakpro<strong>of</strong><br />
containers such as film canisters or plastic pill<br />
bottles.<br />
